My old studio space was on the 2nd floor of the beautiful and historic Old Library and Art College in Stourbridge (now converted into flats).
Empty for 6 years the 2nd floor was taken on, renovated, decorated and is now home to a variety of skilled practitioners – each bringing a wide scope of interests and intellect to the 2nd floor.
These include artists specialising in stained glass, painting, drawing, sculpture, film, a master craftsman luthier, an exhibition designer/ graphic artist and a photographer.
An Open Studio Event was held on the 5th Dec 2015 to celebrate the diverse work happening within the studios and to raise the profile and heritage of the building and the people who once worked here.
